Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and technically skilled individual to fill the vital role of Junior Backend Content Developer. This position is crucial for candidates who have a solid foundation in backend development principles and a keen interest in content creation. In this role, the Junior Backend Content Developer will be a key contributor, working alongside our experienced team to develop, refine, and maintain the backend infrastructures essential for powering our sophisticated digital content platforms. The role demands a high degree of technical acumen and a commitment to ensuring robust functionality, operational efficiency, and an optimal user experience in all backend solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining robust backend systems using programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET.

  • Contribute to the development of APIs and server-side logic to support web and mobile applications.

  • Help manage database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

  • Perform basic database maintenance and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

  • Ensure that content is effectively managed and displayed through backend systems.

  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of backend and frontend components.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Familiarity with backend programming languages (Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, etc.).

  • Basic knowledge of database management systems.

  • Understanding of server-side frameworks and RESTful API development.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Effective communication skills and a willingness to collaborate in a team environment.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced industry.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen. Ability and willingness to undergo any necessary security clearance processes for projects involving government entities.
